Baan Lhong Khaw and Baan Yoang are two grand houses built in traditional Lanna Thai style and both are the highlight of the Popwitri Resort in Chiang Mai. The two-storey houses offer accommodation for guests who wish really to get in touch with the area’s impressive mountainous landscape. Both houses are beautifully constructed and mostly made of wood with each having generous sized rooms fashioned in traditional Lanna Thai style. The houses come fully equipped with facilities and the best of comforts including large LCD TVs. While having breakfast or dinner from your chosen accommodation you can sit and enjoy the view of the Ping River flowing past the resort. Both houses are located strategically in the stunning landscape. At Baan Yoang you’ll find antique water jars and furniture, a large kitchen with utensils and those mod cons needed for food preparation. There are two large well decorated bedrooms with one bedroom upstairs and one double bedroom downstairs. Each bedroom has its own living room with a LCD TV. The bathrooms (both indoor and outdoor) have baths and showers with hot and cold water. The living room areas offer many vantage points to view the mountain scenery, as well as canals, the Ping River, lush vegetation and the resort’s garden. Baan Lhong Khaw is built as a two-storey elegant wooden house in Northern Thai Lanna architecture style in the form of a traditional rice barn and it is well arranged and nicely decorated.
